Okay when I say this on the side of the road I thought the same thing you are thinking right now what a hideous thing. In later contemplation, I had an idea. Take the the door off, fill in the holes, prime, paint, and seal and add a basket I already had. I didn't fill in the holes from the door because I have an idea that is going to cover is but all in all it turned out great and now I have some more storage in my living room.
