2/3 C butter warm
¾ C sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 C flour
Beat butter, sugar and baking powder until combined plus 1 minute. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add 1 cup of flour at a time and mix. Divide dough into 2 balls refrigerate for 3 hours.
Roll out ½ inch thickness and make cut out cookies. Bake at 375 for 7-8 minutes. Decorate as desired . I use Pillsbury vanilla frosting.
